The CO6 is designed for flush-mounted ceiling installation. The driver features an auxilliary HF cone coupled to the LF cone. This provides a smoother, more extended frequency response than typi￢cal 6.5 in drivers. The result is acoustic performance not generally associated with a commercial ceiling speaker in this price range. The CO6 is supplied with an integral multi-tap 70 V / 100 V line transformer adjustable by a connector on the transformer. The grille/baffle is designed to fasten directly to the ceiling, precluding the need and expense of installing a backcan. The resulting low profile is especially applicable where there is minimal clearance above the ceiling.
